Organize Bookcases and Shelves

These built-in bookshelves and cabinet are in our office. I can't tell you how many times I've rearranged the items on each shelf, but I think I finally have a product I'm happy with.

Here are some tips when organizing:
1. Group items in threes
2. Turn groups of books horizontally as a bookend or to break up a long row of books standing vertically
3. Use vases and other accessories to fill in spaces
4. Make sure that shelves balance one another; if there is a group of books sitting horizontally on the right side of a shelf, place a group of books or other items on the left side of an adjacent shelf.
